Not much to say about this really, everyone in Oz is probably sick and tired of Mr. Smiley assuming we’re all kids watching the TV, with his “Hey! Do you like free stuff? Well how about a free TV?”
Of course, to get the “free” TV you have to sign up for a 12 month contract at over $600. The TV is a whole 22 inch screen, no bigger than my computer screen. and as they’ve “only” got 1500 to “give away” you can bet they cost Foxtel less than 50 bucks a piece.
This particular promo is over now, but I have little doubt we’ll see the ever-smiling Foxtel guy treating us all like morons again real soon.
